Friday, I'm in ♥

Whew. It's Friday again friends. Seeing that I was down and out Monday and Tuesday, it's been a short week for me. This weekend you know what I plan on doing? Relaxing. True story. I want to soak up some sun and take a few walks. I might read a book just for fun. Might even do a little baking. That's right, I'm going to spend some time re-charging these batteries so I can face the new week full on and start getting some serious stuff accomplished. And feel good while doing it!

So, what have I been loving lately? Let me tell you:

  • Etsy! Yep, just in general. David's wedding ring came in this week and I'm over the moon with it. I ordered it from Kerkes Goldworks and it couldn't be any more perfect! I'm using Etsy artists throughout the wedding - especially for all the small, personal touches that I want. And I have yet to be disappointed. Everything that has come in has been really well crafted and beyond what I could have envisioned. And everyone is so quick  to answer questions and be helpful and really work with me on custom orders. So, yes, this week I'm totally in love with Etsy.

  • And speaking of Etsy, have you seen the new brainchild of Kate Gabrielle? If not, you have to check out her new shop The Book Fair like right now. She's a genius. I was just talking with my 17 year old the other day about book fairs being my most favorite part of school and how much I missed them! Now I have a book fair I can shop as an adult! She has an actual book fair kit that is loaded with everything that makes me nostalgic!

  • I'm in love with this home tour over at Roots and Feathers. I'm obsessed with seeing the inside of people's homes. If their house reflects their personality. How they choose to decorate their space. Every single detail of this home is pure perfection. It may not be my style, but you can tell that it's her style and it was built with love.

  • I'm a little late in sharing this one, so the majority of you have probably seen this post from Amy Morby on 'Owning It.' Man, what a reminder at just the right time. And I've re-read it since then. Amy reminds us that our blog is OUR online place. And we can do whatever the hell we want here. And to not ever feel bad for doing just that! So, that's what I plan on doing!

So, please tell me what I missed this week. While out sick, I didn't get on the computer not once. That means, I will never be able to make it through all the missed posts in Bloglovin. So you guys will just have to tell me what are some 'must reads' from the week!

Ready, set, go....

  1. Yay! You definitely deserve some time to do a little relaxing & just enjoy things. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I know we've been doing a lot of blog change talk lately (when we have time to chat), so I found something on a blog I recently started reading regularly that might be helpful for you: http://eef-etc.com/category/buildyourblog/. It's got me thinking about some things I have kind of just taken for granted, but they can be really helpful in organization & getting where I want to be.
