My Piece of Wonderland

During the period of my absence I had my gorgeous bridal shower. I am so blessed to have amazing friends who put together the most fantastic afternoon for me. They took my Alice/Vintage/Tea Party theme and ran with it... and hit a home run.

I couldn't have imagined anything more perfect. It exceeded every bit of my expectations!

And, I had a reason to buy a new, fabulous dress from Mod Cloth that fit the occasion to a tee!

So, have a little peek of my own personal Wonderland!

All the details were right on. The menu had all the makings of a fabulous tea party, including scones, muffins, macaroons and cucumber sandwiches. There were mimosas and flavored tea to drink. And mason jars complete with 'drink me' tags and whimsical striped straws.

The whole house had touches of Alice, with banners and prints found on Etsy and hand painted, chalkboard vintage bottles and signs. And did you see the pom poms hanging from the lights? One of my very crafty and talented friends did all those by hand! Oh, and those cake balls? All done by my Maid of Honor. Aren't they gorgeous (they tasted amazing too).

So, 8 more days to go. And I will officially be a married woman. It can't get here quick enough!
