Weekend Ramblings v. 2

Well, the kiddos are all still asleep and the Mister is at work. Seems like the perfect time for a little update.

I can't say that putting in my two week notice has turned out to be an awful thing. It allowed me to get my Etsy shop up and running - by the way, if you have stopped by yet, I cordially invite you do so at  Elf House Delights). And I got to do some copy work this week for a business here in town. I loved that because 1.) I love to write 2.) it made me some extra money and 3.) I got to be creative. They loved what I gave them and that made me feel wonderful!

Got to spend some time with this girl this week - friends from way back!

I also may already have a new job opportunity. The same said business from above has a new position coming available in a couple of months. I know it may be 2 months - however, I love the people who own the business and work there. The hours are great and would give me the flexibility to still take care of the kids. And it would be here in town, which means no more commuting. The boy and I have been doing a lot of talking about what we want to do and are throwing around a lot of ideas. Even me just working part time so I can focus on my business and be a decent pseudo stay at home step-mom. I think everything will fall into place like it's supposed to - I just have a feeling.

In the mean time I have tons to keep me busy. I am cleaning and purging and trying to get two rooms ready for 4 kids (2 rooms that were full to the brim with my stuff). Not to mention, buy new bedroom furniture and bedding and all that fun stuff too! Will keep everyone posted on how this little adventure goes! I know I'm excited about it.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! I'm headed out into the 102+ degree Texas heat to watch All Star State baseball!

Lots of Love...
