My Finds ((Hello Kitty Edition))

I understand that I'm 31 years old. However, that doesn't stop me from still being obsessed over some of the same things I was when I was still just a young girl. There are tons of things that I find fun and adore and want - that aren't necessarily 'meant' for adults. That's one of the things I love about having teen girls now - I have an even better reason to go and look at jewelry at Clarie's or t-shirts and bags at Hot Topic. I don't think I should be judged for my love of Hello Kitty. It's a little bit of whimsy + fun that keeps me smiling. And hey, if it makes me happy, who is anyone else to judge me? I don't do it to be cute or to appear to be 'girly' or to appear to be anything, for that matter. I basically buy/do everything I do because I like it and it simply gives me some kind of joy. Simple enough. I guess what started my idea to post some of my favorite Hello Kitty finds was buying this fabulous bag last weekend. I shared it before, but in case you missed it, here it is again!

I have found that Hot Topic has a plethora of Hello Kitty stuff. The oldest teen girl LOVES this place, so we're always in there poking around. So, I've now got quite an extensive 'want' list going. For example, I found these Vans yesterday and fell in love.

And it's Summer. I do need a new bathing suit!

And for those who still have the need to feel grown up but can't beat the Hello Kitty addiction, the Sanrio website has a little bit for everyone. Like this script logo ring.

Or, how about this bangle.

Or maybe you just let a little of the Kitty peek out by wearing a watch.

So, what is it that you still love to love - no matter your age?

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! I took the girls shopping for Father's Day gifts for David yesterday after work. We might have gotten a little carried away - but he deserves it! He is definitely Dad of the year. And then we went and had a big, yummy dinner at Texas Roadhouse before I took them back home.

Today we're just going to relax here at the house. Barbecue and swim and play and watch movies. Hopefully, it will be just the day that David wants, since this is what's he has requested we do for Father's Day! I gave him all kinds of fun options , but he just truly wants to be with his family and relax. I guess I can't blame him - it seems like these days we never get a second to stop and catch our breath!

Father's Day plans? Would love to hear!

Lots of Love...
