Vacation Dreaming....

So, I feel like I've been a little MIA. Between being in Frisco for the weekend and playing catch-up when I got home (my Jimmy Buffett post to come) - to spending time with my wonderful Mister and his kiddos (ballpark, shopping, eating, having a ton of fun)... and then this morning I went to the doctor for what I thought might be bug bites, but in fact turned out to be Staph Infection (and not only Staph Infection but the MRSA strand which is the worst kind that only 1% of people get). So, needless to say, I'm in extreme, horrible pain and on the verge of tears (yes, I'm going to allow myself to be whiny)!

But I did want to make sure I get myself back into the swing of things. The boyfriend asked me the other day where is it that I just really would like to travel. We decided we would both make a list of our 'top' choices and then cross-reference them, so we can have a plan moving forward about the places we would like to vacation! I thought it was a grand idea - and I'm narrowing down to 5 and sharing it with you as well! I would love feedback if any of you have been to the places on my list!

NEW YORK CITY

"Concrete jungle where dreams are made of,
There's nothing you can’t do,
Now you're in New York!!!
These streets will make you feel brand new,
the lights will inspire you,
Let's hear it for New York, New York, New York" - Empire State of Mind

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Some fun facts about San Francisco:

•San Francisco is home to the largest Chinese community in the world, outside of China

•The fortune cookie, that special triangular treat that dispenses the wisdom of the ancients, was actually first baked in San Francisco at the Japanese Tea Garden.

•They have to continuously paint and repaint the Golden Gate Bridge all the time because by the time the paint crew gets from one end to the other, it's time to start over again!

MACKINAC ISLAND, MICHIGAN

GREECE

All I can say about this destination, is that it's been a life long dream of mine. I always said if I ever got married, I would love to Honeymoon in Greece!

ALASKA

I think I might be okay with doing a cruise to Alaska. That way I can see what I want to see, yet to still have all the luxury! My mom and dad have done the Alaskan cruise and loved it. Does that make me old??

Where is it that you dream of being able to travel one day? Or where have you been that you absolutely loved and would suggest I go?! Would love to hear!

Lots of Love...
