Q&A with DMae Clothing

For the month of March, the sweet and talented Naimah of DMae Clothing has been hanging out here at the Elf House. I thought I would take a minute to pick her brain and learn some new things about this creative and fun gal!

Q: What are your 3 daily blog reads and why?
A: Nubby Twiglet, Honeybee In the City and Tumblr. The first two have a great design aspect to them and both ladies have a style I'd like to have someday soon (spring cleaning means a new look for me)!! The last of the group are collections of my interests. Art, fashion, and then some. It's also the site I use to blog and I really love the format of it.

Q: What is one goal for 2012 you are determined to accomplish?
A: Getting my branding sorted. The ideas are great in my mind, but now is the time to make it happen.

Q: What one piece of advice do you have for new bloggers/shop owners?
A: Do what you love, reach out to those you admire and never give up.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow up (or to rephrase, what is your dream job)?
A: I'd like to be more of a risk taker... But officially I'd love to be able to have DMae as my full time job, have a home studio and be able to travel to craft shows and bazaars with the line.

Q: What's one silly thing nobody would ever guess about you?
A: I think everyone knows I'm pretty silly...but here's an odd habit...I can't throw away ticket stubs. I have stubs from movies I've seen years ago. I can't stop myself!!
