I'm Getting Married Monday...

Well, I figured if I was going to talk about it and post about it weekly, I might as well name it! So, welcome to I'm Getting Married Monday - where I plan on sharing my ideas, inspiration and my plans as they all come together.

So, in good news, I've booker a caterer and decided on a menu that I think is perfect for our big day.

In other planning ideas/inspiration, first, I think I've fallen in love with this cake. I pray that the cake designer can do this and make it look as fabulous as this picture. I'm sold on the use of succulents and the outdoor feel.

I'm not a huge fan of the wedding program, but I'm guessing you need to have one. I love the idea of including it on a fan for the guests. Our wedding will be in July and if you know anything about Texas, that means temperatures will be HOT. So, what a fun way to incorporate something you need to have with something that will be useful for your guests.

I've been debating what to do for the grand 'We are off to start out life' exit. Thought about sparklers, but then I saw this idea and thought it went perfectly with our them. Throwing lavender!

And this one is set in stone. David has picked out his wedding band. So proud of him for finding something from a vendor on Etsy that is handcrafted. One thing you have to know about David (and kids) is that baseball is life. So, this is quite fitting.

It's all coming together nicely. I have a very special idea that I'm working on right now to ask our Best Man and Maid of Honor to help celebrate our special day (hope they say yes). Can't wait to share that with you soon. Also working on getting our engagement pictures booked - and at the same time, taking pictures with the kids, so we have some family portraits! So, stay tuned for those as well!
