A Discovered Delight...

I never thought I would like Ikea. I don't know why. In my mind, I had convinced myself that it was for minimalist, modern/contemporary type people. Not my style at all (no offense if it's yours)! My style is a little all over the place, but I definitely like the vibe of a cozy, homey house that feels lived in. All my pieces are direct reflections of the many facets of my  personality. And now that I have a family, it's important that everything we buy is functional and makes sense for us.

However, I saw a tweet one day (can't recall by whom) about the new Ikea catalog coming and how excited she was and how wonderful the new stuff was. So, I thought, 'what the heck' and got online and ordered a catalog for myself. Man was I surprised when it showed up yesterday. I didn't look through it once - or twice - or even three times. I browsed through it at least four times and still don't think I soaked it all in! My eyes have been opened!

As our family grows, we plan on an addition to our current house or possibly buying a larger house in a year or so. So, this gives me plenty to dream about (as if I need a reason to dream)! So, thought I would share some of my favorite finds. It would take a million posts to share them all!

I guess a lesson to be learned here is don't judge until you know what it is your judging! Any Ikea lovers out there? Any favorites you've purchased and love?!
