Fill In the Blank Friday

Linking up with the little things we do again today for Fill in the Blank Friday. I really love this feature!

1. The most selfless thing I've ever done was becoming a dedicated step-mom to 4 kids. Some would say this wasn't selfless, because their Dad is part of the picture. However, I never missed a beat in giving up my independence, spending habits, time and energy to give them everything I thought they would need. That means my time, love, energy, money... you name it, they get it. I've given up more than they will ever realize to make room in my life for them and to provide for them.
2. When it comes to working out I refuse to do it. Simply refuse. I'm a firm believer that there is no point in doing something if it's not fun for me. Working out is not fun for me. Probably a poor attitude to have, but I've always had it. I'm a healthy eater and have always been at a healthy weight, so I've never really wanted to work out.

3. A woman should always act like a lady. Maybe this is the sorority girl in me, but I've always been taught that there is a certain way a lady should act. Mind you, I have not always followed this rule, but I'm trying to instill it in my girls as I prepare them for the real world .

4. I wish I could    be a stay at home mom   and then I'd    have more time to work on my passions, have a clean house, be able to bake more and be available to our kiddos more during the day.

5. A best friend is    someone who can tell you you're wrong. Will support you even when you're wrong. And never say 'I told you so' after you've gone ahead and done the wrong thing.

6. I can't get enough of     my boyfriend - not in a inappropriate way! He is the first person in my life that I never tire of. I never get annoyed with him. We continue to make each other smile and laugh every single day. I've become one of those women that used to make me sick to my stomach, because I just never want to be without him.

7. This weekend I am    head to Arlington with my sweetie to see the Texas Rangers take on the Detroit Tigers in Game 6. Hopefully we will see the Rangers win and clinch their spot in the World Series!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! We're off to cheer on our favorite baseball team tomorrow!

Lots of Love...

  1. Whew, you are certainly more energetic than me with all that going on! I barely make it thru the day and don't have kids at home. But I do have Fibromyalgia and RA so that explains some of it. Stopping by from the blog hop and now following your blog thru GFC and Facebook. I would love a follow back when you get the chance and while you are there enter my two giveaways that end next week and they have very low entries! Thanks so much for your help and have a great day!
